'OUT WEST', Monday 11th March from 630pm

'OUT WEST', Monday 11th March from 630pm

The Pilgrm is proud to present 'Out West'.

Paddington Bear, hip markets, the Carnival and penicillin are all important West London hallmarks. But today, thanks to captains of industry, the local boroughs are known for a whole lot more. In part due to neighbourhood staples and newcomers’ interests spanning across fitness, dining and co-working, the area has a new life and a revived love affair with popular culture.

Join us from 630pm, Monday 11th March, for a lively panel discussion on how local trailblazers are bringing new energy and vibrancy to one of London’s most creative, enterprising and historic boroughs. Moderated by Navaz Batliwalla, West London-born fashion writer and editorial consultant who has contributed to publications including Grazia, Glamour, Glass, Sotheby’s and SHOWstudio.

About the panel:

Ed Templeton, Carousel
Ed is co-founder of family-run creative hub, Carousel. Split across three buildings - two in Marylebone, one in Seven Dials - Ed and his cousins play host to a revolving line-up of guest chef residencies, art exhibitions, workshops, experiences, talks and events. Carousel was named runner-up in the 'Best Overall Experience Category' at the 2018 GQ Food & Drink Awards.

Lloyd Salmons, 12x3 Gyms
After a career in music at EMI, Lloyd built and sold an advertising agency to Saatchi & Saatchi. The obvious next step? Create a chain of boutique boxing gyms called 12x3 with a World Champion boxer.

Ross Grieve, WeWork
Ross is the Community Director for WeWork in London. He currently oversees the day to day running of the Central London community, working with the other UK&IRE Community Directors to ensure the members receive the best support from their community teams; and connect them to the rest of WeWork's 400,000 members.

Arrivals: From 630pm, talk starts 7pm.
Address: The Pilgrm, 25 London Street, London, W2 1HH.
RSVP: rsvp@thepilgrm.com as spaces are limited.
